Wintersberg in Bad Ems

A beautiful hotel high above Bad Ems, very nice operators, everything clean and modern, including a generous breakfast.

Great location in the middle of the forest with a great view.

Was only brief, but everything was great and compliant with the rules. Can and must be recommended in times of Corona. Thanks to the whole team. Stay as you are. I'll be back this year. Many greetings from Jörg Dittrich

It is very quiet and has a fantastic view. Very nice family and service. The breakfast was first class, requests were met and a lot offered.

Those looking for peace and quiet will find it here. Located in the middle of the forest, with the window open, a very quiet night awaits you with a concert by the forest inhabitants in the morning. It may be that there are the same bird calls at home, but unfortunately we can no longer hear them due to the noise from the motorway. The room we booked was comfortable enough to stay here for several days. From the balcony you had the same beautiful view as from the breakfast terrace. When the weather is nice, breakfast on this terrace is a must! A very good breakfast in the open air with such a backdrop takes a long time to look for. The selected table is set quickly and you have the good feeling of being welcomed and looked after. Thank you, we'll be back. But then not on a Monday or Tuesday because it is closed. When you stop here in the evening as a hiker after a 25 km walk, you want to eat here rather than take another step.

With this view high above Bad Ems, the after-work wheat tastes good during the bike tour. Nice, humorous staff. Fine! We felt welcome.

I will always be happy to stay there. Very nice family hotel in the middle of the forest. Very good air there. Breakfast was very tasty and sufficient. With everything the ♥ desires. There was even freshly squeezed orange juice and of course a soft-boiled breakfast egg. The staff is very courteous and friendly. I'm really looking forward to the next time at the Hotel Wintersberg 😂👍👍👍👍👍🍺🍸🍺

A very nicely located hotel with a view over Bad Ems. We were very satisfied and can definitely recommend it. Unfortunately there are a lot of wasps, allergy sufferers have to be careful here, and unfortunately the restaurant was only partially usable due to Corona. We found the solution with the given menus to be less than ideal, as the quantities simply become too much for us. Outside of Corona, however, it can be recommended without reservation, the skill of the kitchen was definitely to be tasted positively. Another positive point is the breakfast, very delicious homemade jam to name just one example.

Very nicely located house with nice rooms. My single room was cute and beautiful. Unfortunately not with a direct view of the valley, but a bit "around the corner" it was nice. Breakfast was served at the table with a large selection and variety. We responded to requests. All in all, because of the unique view from above into the Lahn valley, definitely recommendable. I would go again.

Aged hotel. Sometimes quite neglected. I really didn't like it. Advertises with a good restaurant, but that has closed. Breakfast was really good though. I cannot make a recommendation here!

A bit out of the way, but that's what makes this hotel :) Great atmosphere and very nice contact, I can only recommend it !!!

The owners are very friendly and have a lot of humor, there was always something to laugh about. The food is upscale, tastes super delicious and is of very good quality, at a very fair price. The room was very clean and spacious. The only thing to complain about is that the TV is out of date, but does its job and there is no common room or anything like that. We would like to thank the owners again for their hospitality

This hotel was a wonderful sanctuary a little removed from Bad Elms. Beautiful 42 hiking trails offered history and hiking. The owners were amazing! No need to go out for a meal....the food was superb and sunset drinks on the patio were the perfect way to take in the sunset. We are going back for sure.

Very nice location, great view, delicious food and friendly service, it could not be better! The hotel rooms are different in size for the same price. You should ask better first.

Great hotel with a fabulous kitchen. Especially the menu is recommended. The Bauernterrine and the Limesbraten - legendary at absolutely reasonable prices. With boss and boss service is capitalized. Here I want to come back again.

Nice, somewhat older hotel with loving hosts and a super sweet breakfast! Very great view. Mini point of criticism: If the website advertises that you can ask the staff about great hiking trails in the area, it should ideally be that way. :)

Dinner was very delicious

There are many cakes to choose from with coffee and the view is worth seeing. Unfortunately the sun disappears in the afternoon, so you only sit in the shade. Was only there for a coffee but the ambience (inside and outside) didn't appeal to me at all. Is everything so old-fashioned and (even if it sounds hard) run down. The restaurant may be excellent but I won't be back to try it again.
